Community rules & meeting safely
LinkUp is for adults aged 18 and over to make friends through shared interests. It is not a dating or sexual-content service.
Be kind and keep it respectful
- No harassment, discrimination, threats, bullying, impersonation or unwanted sexual approaches.
- No sexual content, scams, illegal activity, spam, advertising or requests for money.
- Do not post phone numbers, email addresses, street addresses, financial details or someone else’s personal information.
- Do not join if you are under 18. The age declaration is not independent age or identity verification.
How review works
New profiles, profile edits and posts are held for owner review. Approval does not verify someone’s identity, background or the safety of an activity. Reports go to the owner; review is not a 24-hour emergency service. The owner may reject content or suspend memberships that break these rules.
Report, block or appeal
Use Report on a post to explain a concern. Block member hides their posts from you and your posts from them. To appeal a decision, report a profile concern or ask to unblock someone, email servicemate247@gmail.com. Include the display name or relevant post details; avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
If you arrange to meet
- Meet in a busy public place, preferably as a group.
- Tell someone you trust where you are going and arrange your own transport.
- Do not send money or share your home address. Leave if you feel uncomfortable.
- Activities suggested by members are not organised, vetted or insured by ServiceMate unless explicitly stated.
For immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
